Steak, Steak, Steak! See, now you want steak!

Could be one of the best Steak Houses in the country!

Ringside Uptown opened up in 1944 and we should all thank them for doing so. This was a favorite of mine when I was living in Portland and a place you need to check out when you are there. Located over the Burnside bridge (right down the road from where I graduated from Culinary School) in the heart of Portland…..

I am going to cut right to the heart of this review…

Steak!

If you have ever wanted that perfect meal, that meal that could be your last wish, well you found it!

From the filet to the dry aged New York every steak they are all cut in-house and aged for at least 28 days. Any restaurant that puts this much effort into a steak can’t be wrong!

My recommendation is go for the Bone-in Rib Eye Steak! 20 OZ of never ending goodness that makes me want to jump on a plane and get one tonight! Bone-in for that added flavor perfectly cooked and marbled for a flavor you only dream about.

Really Greg? You had to take it there? (Yes I did.)

Don’t forget to add the Chef’s Special Steak Butter and the Lobster Mashed Potatoes (pictured above) as this just takes the Rib Eye to another level all together!

Not to mention the Onion Rings or Roasted Marrow Bones to start out with! I can go on and on, but this is The FAST Review!

In short, Ringside is a unique and fun place to have happy hour or a night out. Great Happy Hour (some say the best in Portland), great wine list and AWESOME menu. The Ringside theme, especially in the bar, is one you will never forget!

The service is out of this world! From the Valet to the hostess they all get it when it comes to service.
