Ricos American Grill
Not every resort has a stellar restaurant that can keep up with the local cuisine, but Rico’s sure puts up a good fight. The location is right off 16th Street and Northern on the SR-51 at the Point Squaw Peak, so you have a great resort, great area and a great place to stop and have happy hour or a good dinner.
If you’re staying at the Point or looking for a good place for Happy Hour, You Found It! If you’re going for drinks and apps, make sure you try it at the bar or in Rico’s Back Yard. We are in Arizona for a reason and of course, visiting for a reason… so enjoy the outdoors!

Ricos American Grill
If you’re in the Back Yard for Happy Hour, you have to try the Chef’s Cutting Board. Anytime you see the word Chef next to a dish, it is a must try. In this case, it’s a WINNER with selections of cured meats, artisan cheeses, olives and crusty bread. It was hard to stop eating and the Happy Hour price is something you can’t beat in the central Phoenix area.

Want something a little more on the American side? Go for the Pulled Pork Sliders. Now the Pork is smoked to perfection and fork tender, and the brioche bun is fresh and super good. But the WINNER of this dish is the Granny Smith apple slaw they put on top of the slider… Super Awesome!!
Ricos American Grill
The Pointe Squaw Peak has a few options at Rico’s and if you choose to eat dinner, well that’s not too shabby either. Start with the 50/50 Caesar Salad and finish with the Mac & Five Cheeses (WHAT?? 5 CHEESES?!?), it’s a must try! Have it with the steak, you can thank me later.
Ricos American Grill – Some great options under one roof! From the Sports Bar to Back Yard and the main dining room, ambiance is what makes Rico’s American Grill a resort restaurant worth visiting.
