Revolu Modern Taqueria Peoria Arizona Restaurants Reviews…A modern taqueria featuring hand-crafted Mexican Street Fare and drinks. IT’S A STREET TACO FOOD TRUCK ON STEROIDS!

Let’s Get It On…Ding, Ding, Ding! Tacos, Salads, Saucers, Bowls, Drinks, Greens and more. You have to try the Guac Tasting, super good Guac!

First of all, the ambiance gives you that open floor feeling with individual tables, great bar and family style seating. Not that cramped feeling, with T.V.’s and cool art decorate the walls.

Because we live in Arizona you might feel like sitting outside! A large outside patio that is enclosed and covered so you can enjoy in any type of weather, especially the Arizona Weather!

Also a good size bar if you want to hang out, have happy hour and munch on some good food. A great place to watch the game.

Hostess: Saw us walking up and opened the door with a big smile and a how are you! Great start and Super Awesome Hostess.
Waitstaff / Bar: I had the pleasure of being waited on by Matt and Anna (Banana) (that is what she wanted to be called, I didn’t make that up)! Two amazing people to start with and when you are new to a restaurant and the waitstaff has more excitement of serving you than you have of eating, that is a WIN WIN! Both were not only waiting on us, but a full bar and restaurant had them moving and shaking without missing a beat!
Management: A Mom and Pop restaurant, so Pop was in the back making the kitchen run, and Mom had a night off. Love the hands on approach by restaurant owners like this! When the staff is that good, the management must be good, right!

We happened to be at Revolu for Happy Hour, so GAME ON! First the BIG BALL (The happy hour version of Big Balls) and I’m not afraid to say it. House made Mexican Style Meatball served in an ancho sauce and shaved queso…YES THAT GOOD!

And who can say NO to loaded fries…I sure can’t! A must for an appetizer at Happy Hour! Topped with Carne Asada and Cilantro Lime Cream.
Now we get into the Street Tacos (FOOD TRUCK ON STEROIDS)! I have had my fair share of Street Tacos in Arizona and all over the USA. Revolu, well….. has some of the Freshest, Most Tastiest Tacos around.

What is a Street Taco joint with out a Diablo! A true Diablo at Revolu is the El Diablo Shrimp… Es Espicy! Arbol chile marinated shrimp with melted cheese and cilantro lime cream. “Hey Anna Banana, another drink please”! Super good and Super Diablo Spicy.
You can’t go wrong with Carnitas. Crispy pork, green onion, cilantro, cotija and lime, how could something so simple have so much depth in flavor. Love the way Revolu uses cotija cheese!

Chef Slow it down on the tacos…”No Way Man, keep them coming”! Another must try is the Carne Asada and Chorizo Y Papa.

And now the STAR of Revolu, Drum Roll Please……….Chorizo Y Papa (Listen to this) House made Chorizo, gold potatoes, green salsa, onion, cotija and cilantro. OOH YEA! The Best CHORIZO in Arizona! No Really a must try!

The Carne Asada is super tender and with that, Fresh made Guac, It’s Awesome! Not your same old Carne Asada at Revolu for sure!
