Giordanos Peoria Restaurants Pizza Restaurants Reviews – another piece of Chicago has landed in Arizona, and Arizona needed it!
This pizza pie became a sacred tradition in the Giordano family and a legend in the town of Torino. Years later, Italian immigrants Efren and Joseph Boglio moved to Chicago to start their own pizza business. The brothers introduced their Mama’s recipe for stuffed pizza. In 1974, on Chicago’s historic south side, Efren and Joseph opened the first Giordano’s in the world. Over the next 40 years and counting, millions of happy and loyal fans as well as hundreds of critics call Giordano’s the city’s “best” stuffed pizza! The rest is history you can still taste today, along with our other great starters, fresh salads, outstanding pastas and unique sandwiches.
Now Arizonans get a taste of Pizza that has taken 200 years to evolve! YES – sorry speaking loudly here for us Foodies craving good Food in AZ!
Good size restaurant with booths, tables and a good size bar. YEP T.V.’s so WE won’t miss the game.
Huge outside patio for those nice Arizona nights and Yep T.V.’s!
Hostess: Friendly and gave us the choice of where to sit, love that!
Server: Super friendly and new his menu! I frequent Chicago many times a year and like to hear almost the same take on the menu as in Chicago! That is important as this is a MEAL Pizza and full of goodness that needs to be explained.
Management: Never was talked to or asked how our meal was. Shame as Customer Service is a focal point in Chicago and they need that here in AZ!
Let’s start with what we all get for an app when eating pizza, The Wings! Good Flavor and a good start! I had a Ranch expert with me and needless to say the Ranch was a hit!
Now the reason we are here DEEP DISH STUFFED PIZZA! Are you looking at this pic, Yep a Pizza MEAL! No really a full MEAL!
The deal at Giordano’s is when you get that firs slice. You want that Gooey Goodness Cheese dripping off and have to use the spatula to cut it out. In my opinion THIS PIZZA IS WINNING WITH CHEESE! Could be my FAVE PIC!
I know and I get it NY pizza lovers thin crust so you can fold (I love it too), but there is just something about a Deep Dish Chicago Pizza!
We tried to finish it all, but nothing and I mean nothing better than leftover Giordanos Pizza! Especially when it is a full meal!
