Chicken Recipes Easy Balsamic Glaze Recipe Dinner Ideas
Ingredients
- 2 Bone In, Skin On Large Chicken Breast
- 1/3 Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tbsp Finely Diced Shallot
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Parsley
- 1 Spring Fresh Rosemary (leave on the stem)
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/3 Cup Chicken Stock
- 5 Large Artichoke Hearts Cut In Half
- 8 oz 1-2 Inch Mozzarella Balls
- 4 oz Cherry Tomatoes
- Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil For Marinade and Sauteing
Makes 2 Award winning Balsamic Glaze Chicken (If you want 4 double the Recipe)

Take the Balsamic Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, Minced Garlic, Dijon Mustard, Finely Diced Shallot, Fresh Chopped Parsley and 1 Tbls Olive Oil and mix in a bowl. Add the Chicken Breast and Marinade (I make this in the morning and marinade for at least 8 hours) or you can marinade for at least 1 hour.
When your ready to cook, Heat oven to 425 Degrees…

Add 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil to a deep walled saute’ pan over med Hi heat…

Next, take the chicken out of the marinade (do NOT discard marinade) and add them skin side down in the pan. Cook each side 5 minutes and turn over.

Your looking for a good sear to the skin and chicken.

Take the the marinade and pour into the pan and add the sprig of Rosemary and place in the oven to roast for 30 – 35 minutes.

Check that temp with a thermometer…we are looking for an internal temp of 165° F so you can temp to 155° and take out to rest. By resting you will get up to temp without over cooking.

While the Chicken is resting, put your pan on med heat on the stove and whisk in the ROOM TEMPERATURE unsalted butter…

Add the Artichoke Hearts, salt and pepper turn down the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes…

Pate’ in Time…Place Chicken on a plate and coat with the Balsamic Glaze (Ooh Yeah).

Add the Cherry Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts and Mozzarella and enjoy!
