
Bacon Cabbage Tomato Sandwich Recipe
BLT, we love them, but grease, mayo, butter…Ya too much fat and I’m trying to stay healthy, count me out. Not So Fast! How about a twist on an old favorite…TBCT sandwich, Yep Turkey Bacon, Cabbage, Tomato on toasted bread. Ok…I’ll try that!!! Bacon Cabbage Tomato Sandwich
Bacon Cabbage Tomato Sandwich
For this recipe, you will need the following:
- 10 pieces of Turkey Bacon (or the real thing if you like)
- 1/2 head of Cabbage
- 2 Tbls. Red Onion
- 3 Tbls. Italian Vinaigrette
- 4 slices potato bread (you can substitute whole grain or wheat)
1. Slice the half cabbage and add 2 tablespoons of sliced red onion.
2. Add the Italian Vinaigrette and Pepper…
…Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
3. Toast your bread on one side or both and stack the sliced tomato and cabbage as high as you like.
4. Slice and eat…you can also serve with your favorite chips or veggies.
I’m telling you…Your entire family will love this. Gourmet just arrived to your kitchen as a Healthy Sandwich. Enjoy this during your favorite game or with your family at a picnic, Ooh Yeah!
